Shipping policy

SHIPPING POLICY

Effective Date: January 1, 2026
This Shipping Policy applies to all bids, purchases, and transactions made on or after this date.


1. Shipping Availability

Rucksack Resale ships within the United States only, unless otherwise expressly stated in a product listing.

  • Local pickup is not available

  • All orders are shipped to the address provided by the buyer at checkout

  • Buyers are responsible for ensuring shipping information is accurate and complete


2. Shipping Costs

  • Buyers are responsible for all shipping costs

  • Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on item size, weight, destination, and carrier rates

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable


3. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are processed after full payment is received

  • Typical processing time is 1–5 business days, excluding weekends and holidays

  • Processing times may be extended during high-volume auction periods or holidays


4. Shipping Methods & Carriers

  • Shipping carriers are selected at our discretion based on item size, weight, and destination

  • Carriers may include USPS, UPS, FedEx, or other commercial carriers

  • Carrier selection may change without notice


5. Delivery Timeframes

  • Delivery estimates provided by carriers are not guaranteed

  • Rucksack Resale is not responsible for delays caused by:

    • Carrier operations

    • Weather conditions

    • Labor disruptions

    • Acts of God or other circumstances beyond our control


6. Risk of Loss

  • Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon confirmed delivery by the carrier

  • Once an item is marked as delivered, Rucksack Resale is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage


7. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If an item arrives visibly damaged, the buyer must:

  • Retain all original packaging

  • Document damage with photographs

  • File a damage or loss claim directly with the shipping carrier

Rucksack Resale may provide shipment documentation upon request but is not liable for carrier-related damage or loss.


8. Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses

  • Buyers are responsible for providing a correct and deliverable shipping address

  • Orders returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses are not eligible for refunds

  • Additional shipping charges may apply for re-shipment


9. Oversized & Heavy Items

Appliances, furniture, and oversized items may:

  • Require special handling

  • Incur higher shipping costs

  • Have extended delivery timeframes

By purchasing such items, buyers acknowledge and accept these conditions.


10. Combined Shipping

  • Combined shipping may be available for multiple items when feasible

  • Combined shipping is not guaranteed and depends on item size, weight, and carrier limitations


11. International Shipping

International shipping is not currently offered, unless explicitly stated in a specific listing.


12. No Shipping Refunds

Shipping charges will not be refunded for:

  • Carrier delays

  • Failed delivery attempts

  • Buyer unavailability

  • Refused or returned packages


13. Acceptance of Shipping Terms

By placing a bid or completing a purchase, the buyer:

  • Accepts responsibility for all shipping costs

  • Accepts carrier delivery terms

  • Acknowledges transfer of risk upon delivery

  • Agrees to this Shipping Policy
